mar- a night out
we went out to boardwalk billy’s for dinner and took a long walk around the boardwalk. it was a beautiful night. beautiful trees and water.
the posing just kills me.

lilly is an angel in sleep. she is an angel at other times too but she is my baby and so i appreciate her and the angel that she is in this state more than others.
mar- the lake
we went up to Lake Norman. spent a chilly afternoon at the lake to be more exact.
Grace said the water was melancholy. I think she was right.
mar- barking
sox has begun barking at everything and anyone. birds, dogs, sticks, neighbors, trees.. seriously everything. spring is making her crazy.
Mar18- appreciation
we had teacher appreciation week at the girls school. We mad these fun gift packages full of fun snacks. i thought they turned out really cute.
Mar??- work
sometimes in my job I get to meet amazing people. And sometimes I get to see the amazing work that they do. this is an amazing solution for water draining that was eroding the side of the hill that this property sits on…
forgive and move on…
ok… so I have missed a few days. I have 20 pictures for 28 days. So I am going to post what I have to share and move on.
Mostly this project makes me stop and take notice of things that I would miss by being wrapped up in my crazy life. I guess that describes the last few weeks and why it seems like I haven’t stopped and smelled the roses…

mar 13- yum
i had a wonderful start to the day with this great view and a very yummy crab and avacado omelet from Mimi’s Cafe.
we ate on the patio all by ourselves in the sunshine and the cool breeze of early spring. go to Mimi’s. eat the banana chocolate chip muffin and then send me thank you notes for suggesting it.
mar 12- lilly
tonight the older kids were at special church activities. this left lilly home with mom and dad. we went to Cinco Hombres (5 guys) for dinner and then hung out snuggling on my bed. she got ahold of my phone and took a lot of pictures after i apparently zonked out and went to sleep VERY early. i loved this one. those eyes really are that blue.
